Default Teak inlay (dark strip of wood) is peeling away from wheel.

I noticed today that my teak stearing wheel (repro) inlay is starting to pull away from the wood grip.
Has anyone had this happen before?

There's a fellow in Canada who makes and repairs/restores teak wheels - I think his handle is "Teakmaster"; there's probably a member here that can post his contact info.

Doug Graves 519-752-0780 Teakmaster.
He just did the Rose Wood inlay repair on my original teak wheel. As well refinishing. It came out looking like a brand new steering wheel. I am very happy with the results. He is located west of Toronto.

That wheel looks spectacular.

Thanks. He replaced the inlay around the outside of the wheel and the color matches excellent with the original inlay on the inside of the wheel.

Thanks for the pointers.
This wheel is only 3 years old. Maybe the vendor (Virginia Vettes) can put me in touch with the guy who built my wheel?

I think Dick (Virginia Vettes) has always sold teak wheels made by Eric Freeman, but Eric retired a couple of years ago; give Dick a call and see if he has another supplier lined up.
