1966 Door Panel Vapor Barrier installation
I'm in the process of rebuilding my door locks, etc., and I'm replacing the 50 year old vapor barrier. I'm trying to figure out what product to use to replace the original white (caulking?) that was used by the factory to attach the door panel vapor barrier. Anyone know what will work best?

OR....If you are not worried about being factory correct...you can use 3M's black strip caulk and that will due just fine.

string or "rope" caulk. In the insulation section of your home store. Or at RV supply store. It's the right color and much easier to work with. 3M strip caulk is overkill for this application.
