Some are rarely seen because they are awful and no one wants them.

The Inca Silver is clearly not a '56-'57. Panama Yellow in '58 and Arctic Blue in '56 were also very rare.

I agree. And calling Honduras Maroon 'blood red' as opposed to Roman red is just plain being color blind. Honduras Maroon is hardly even red.....more like root beer brown with a little Dr. Pepper maroon thrown in. On the bright side, there is a gent in the town where I live that has a Turqoise/white cove '56 that has been his daily driver for over 50 years. He has something like 500,000 miles on it. I see it all over the place, and man, does it stand out.

Several of the cove colors mentioned don't seem to match what was offered from the factory.

That blue 61 is beautiful... but it's not close to Jewel Blue... Looks more like a 'Royal Blue'.
The interior on my 61 is Jewel... and I know how hard it is to re-create it!
Jewel Blue is a bit lighter, and a bit 'grey'.

From what I understand some of the new car dealers painted the coves of a few of them contrasting color prior to offering them for sale if they weren't contrasting already. The dealer decided the color, not GM.

The picts would be nicer if a Gumout lower third wasn't blocking part of the view...
