C2 '66 default gas gauge setting in the middle?
A couple months ago, I had to swap out the fuel sending unit in my 66. I didn't have new connectors, so I haven't connected the wires yet. I notice that the needle indicates dead center with the wires disconnected.
Is this normal? I was just curious, I thought it would read zero/empty.
I'll get around to replacing the connectors and completing the job next week or so.
