What is the deal with this car
A 1967 coupe, being sold by a well known dealer, and priced like this $59,900.
What am I missing? Does anyone know anything about this car?

I'll speculate.
The Lynndale blue is a less-common, and to many, a desirable color (myself included).
With the teal interior, it pops, IMO.
Although it is the low HP engine, it is decently optioned.
More importantly, it appears to be in tip top shape. Overall, a beautiful car.
The thing I can't figure out - I don't see any claims on originality (e.g., "numbers matching" or "NCRS Top Flight").

What's the deal? It's a mass produced car, 50 years old, in good shape but among peers that are in good shape much more often as a rule.
that we are conditioned to think $60k is cheap is what blows my mind.

I have not seen this coupe in person, but seen many of Mershon's Corvettes with my own eyes. If you see in person, I'm sure the answer to your question will be clear. They are a used car dealer.

Nope. In order to delete something, it has to be standard equipment on every unit and you're telling them not to install it at all, and to credit you for the price difference. A/C, power windows, and a radio were OPTIONS, which you ordered as an upgrade from the standard model and paid extra for (remember "optional at extra cost"?).
If it was included in the car's base price, sometimes they'd let you DELETE it and credit you back for it, but not very often. The ones you hear about most often are the heater ('62-'67), and the radio ('56-'67); those cars are generally called "heater delete" and "radio delete" units. One oddball is the J-61 Drum Brake Substitution on the '65 Corvette, with a $63.15 credit to the customer, for those customers who weren't convinced that those newfangled disc brakes were as good as drums.

I think people are mixing up BB prices with the more garden-variety Corvettes...
This car seems priced within the ballpark to me; prob at the high end actually..

It looks like a nice car but maybe a bit on the high end without documentation – something like a tank sticker or original invoice to verify the options. They are implying it was equipped with the installed options from the factory – side exhaust (could be verified), shoulder belts, and bolt-on wheels. If it has real bolt-on’s that could add $10K.

The car just seemed a bit low price wise to me, given it is a well know Corvette dealership.
Lyndale Blue is not my favorite color. If it was Marine Blue I would be MUCH more interested, and I suspect the car would be priced higher.

It's hard to believe a dealer would ask 60K for a car if they think the current market would bring more. Pictures don't always tell the whole story. An actual inspection may change opinions on the price.
