Default 1967 roadster VIN 194677S117747 where are you?

I have the original 427 - 435 short block for 1967 roadster VIN 194677S117747 and yes I posted it in the "orphan parts" section a while back. Forum member SupremeDeluxe suggested I search for the car using VinAudit.com and when I did it came back as a legitimate VIN so I paid the $9.95 to purchase the report. It showed the car was / is (?) registered in Pennsylvania as of March 31, 1971 and it says "Current". I was surprised a 46 year old title showed up as I would have thought their vehicle records had long ago been purged. Even though chances the car still exists are slim, I would still like to see this engine get back with it's original car. Any of you PA Corvette enthusiasts got this car hidden in your barns..............or garages...................or man caves ?

The thrill of the hunt keeps us going.

Thanks,
Rex

The PA DMV had a fire in 89 or 90 that burned all the records. So not sure how that web site got the info. Good luck

The report was 5 pages but the first page is the only one with important data.

I know identity theft and privacy are big deals now. But it sure bites that something like a VIN has to be shielded from everything. According to NMVTIS 3 of my former Vettes from decades ago are still titled, but they don't show in the C-1 and C-2 registries and other than the state and the date, that's as far as I can get.
