If you read the very first post, they had already agreed to sell it before the divorce. So the guy only lost out on half the selling price. Based on what has been posted, I'm guessing the reason he was uncooperative was less about loving the Vette, and more about just wasting to screw his ex over. Since she stands to get the $ from the sale, the longer he held the car the longer she had to wait for her money.

Somehow, what with the decades-long downward spiral of self-destructive behavior and now full blown AIDS, I don't see Charlie as the face of a winner who's winning. His caption should read "Flaming" or "Disintegrating" instead. He was once a pretty good actor, too.

Well, since OP's car is a 56, and that is a 58-60, I'd guess "no". Neat pic anyhow.
