I have recently been thinking about upgrading the brakes in my 66 SBC equipped with Power Brake with Power Stops Z23 Evolution Sport pad and rotor kit. Can anyone offer some advice. I already need to replace pad because of another issue. How do these pads and rotors work. I have heard they are unreasonably loud. i would appreciate any feedback. I also looked and could not find if this question was asked already.

Link doesn't work. Do you race the car or track it regularly? If not, it doesn't need a brake "upgrade" - the midyear disc brake system is about as good as it gets, and the rotors are good for 100,000+ miles unless you use "race" pads. Like suspension, catalog-engineering the brake system seldom has a positive outcome.
