Adj Float levels on Holley 3247 off the car
Is there a way that I can adjust the float levels on a Holley 3247 carb while it is off the car. I have a way to do this on small engine carbs and a similar method might work on this however I am looking for a better method.

go to the holley website and look for dry float settings for your carb. I am not sure how far back they go. holley sells a illustrated parts and specs catalog that list most all their carbs.

My method is to hold the carburator upside down. Adjust the float levels to level with the base of the carb by looking though the site holes. This will get it close and the levels can be fined tuned once it is on the engine and running. Don't know if this helps you or not. Just my way of doing it.
