Default thanks,guys.

I'm beat but have to thank you for all the support and prayer. The doctors are amazed at what's happening. He squeezed his brothers hand and was able to follow some doctors commands. I think the liver is healing and may not need the operation. The kidney stopped bleeding and I hope he can keep it. The damaged side of the brain seems to be getting some blood from somewhere. We have to deal with the stroke he got when the blood was stopped to the damaged part of the brain. good news there is that blood is some how getting to parts of the damaged brain.
cant figure out how a 22 year old criminal with a long record, one being attempted murder can be on the streets. How much time do you spend for attempted murder? He did it again with my son. Maybe he started in grade school.
I thought I would help him tomorrow at his hearing and post bail for him. I could make sure he wouldn't jump bail! I shouldn't have said that but every time I look at my 41 year old son with tubes all over him and a big part of his scull missing, face black 7 blue, I get these feelings of anger and hate.
This is more than a forum, it's a great bunch of guys that support each other.

The kind of report we've been hoping for Dom and answers to the prayer support. This thread is my reminder and for other fathers here. He's already a miracle.

Default long road ahead

I can't believe what is happening. Condition is improving so fast that we will be starting the recovery part of this. Kidney is working and liver may not need operation. Prayer does work wonders. I thanked the team of doctors and told them that they had more help than the knew about, prayer.
So many praying all over the country that it would be impossible to thank all. what a blessing.
Now to remove some slugs and go forward. Can't wait for the tubes and breather in his lungs to come out. 4 AM this morning the drain tubes in the head were removed. You guys are part of something that my family & I will never forget. Said it before, but I didn't get a chance to meet you guys but I know your hearts.
Sunday when the first brain surgery was to be happening, the surgeon came out and asked me to assemble my family in the hall. He said "I hate to have to inform you of this under these circumstances". That about dropped me to the floor. I thought the next few words were that I lost my kid. Then he went on to give us the doom & gloom part of what he found. That was the worst few seconds of my life.
before the next brain operation meeting with the surgeon I told him that he almost sent 8 of us to cardiac. He said" I guess i should have arranged my words differently. I want positive things and told of problems.
The road may be a long one but thank God we have the chance to do it.

Dom,
I am keeping your son, you and your family in my prayers, no one should have to go through what you are experiencing.

i am scared for what's going on in society today and it seems we are to far gone to go back to the simplicity of years ago.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your son, and the rest of your family in this difficult time.

We come together because of the cars, we stay together because of the people.

Every one of us has your back, and you son's back.

Lean on us, we welcome it, and never ever think it is an imposition.

We are your brothers and sisters. Anything, anywhere, anytime.

That is great news, Dom. The power of prayer is awesome. Keep us posted on your son's recovery.

As far as the guy who did this to your son and what's going on in society today, I just can't find the words. Things have to change.

Steve
