Default Somewhat OT- garage wall

I'm cleaning up the garage after my excursion painting the 64, and among other things I'm painting and planning a (probably Bendpak) lift to bring the '69 home from my elderly neighbors.

My kids and I are huge fans of the movies Cars (one and three, let's not discuss two). When the third movie came out I saw this banner in the lobby and - had- to have it. $100 shipped on eBay, money well spent.

I have 2 walls left to touch up and paint and then the floor to address, some new storage and then the lift!

i couldn't resist the photo for any of you who may know the films. I'm thinking in smaller format I'll add Grand Prix, Bullitt, Vanishing Point, and perhaps a couple vintage road race posters (Le Mans, Spa, Watkins Glen, etc)

Benton,
Great job, I love it! Don't forget, "Gone in 60 Seconds" as well!

Looking fwd to seeing the Bendpak stuffed in there too.

I picked up posters at the Mille Miglia and at Pebble Beach... they have good ones.

My garage walls are covered in guy stuff.

i do have one of those posters hanging around from the remake 15 years ago or so.

The lift is going to be key. My neighbor is a great lady and I love checking in on her, but even having the c3 next door cuts down on my use.

I think the cost of the lift will keep me happy in this home for another 2/3 years, which will be an ideal time to sell I believe. That will be about year 11 for us.

steve- post up a photo of your stuff!

Now that's a cool poster... I may have to find a space for one of those in my shop...
