It is pretty simple if they say KH or Kelsey Hays on the back side they are originals. If it says Western or anything else (there were two manufactures that made the repoand I can't remember the other name) they are repos.

When I bought my 63 in boxes back in 1982, I got it $1,000 cheaper minus the tired looking K-H wheels. Shoot, I could buy a set of repro Westerns for $1995! and they didn't need restoring. I mart.

Whoa, Nellie....I am aware of a reproduction KO wheel from the late 70s/early 80s that had a "KH" cast in a little square; name of the company was carefully chosen, "KH" for "Kustom House".
