Project car coming to Carlisle
I understand a friend of mine is bringing this 57 (or is it a 56?) to Carlisle Thursday. I don't know anything about it, another friend forwarded the pictures to me.
Anybody up for a "project"?

Nice planter. That would liven up my garden.

Sell it to Lance Miller. Thousands gather there to give him millions of dollars every year.
Never could get over the concept of charging people to see cars owned by others. Must be the PT Barnum concept.

YIKES ! I am kinda looking for another project car but that one scares even me. I would be concerned about the condition of the fiberglass, might be soft. Engine , trans, frame are probably lumps of rust. Hmmmm. Gonna be a great display though.

Looking at nice cars is a bonus. I go for the people and hope to find deals in the flea market area. I have been going for well over 20 years now and I have meet a lot of people year after year that I only see once a year. I am just the youngest and look out of place but I feel I am with family

You may even know the person bringing that car Pop. He's from PA, and vintage races Corvettes, he's currently racing a silver AP roadster.

I'd love to see how badly deteriorated the under carriage/frame is. It has to be beyond bad.

I gladly pay my entrance fee for a great time. I have been going since 1976 for at least one day, and since 1999 for four days. Great cars, even greater people all under the umbrella of fun and socialization. You should try it some time. It might change your attitude. Dennis
