Go to your local auto paint facility. They have an instrument to determine the color, shade, and relate a formula to match. Body shops use it all the time. Saves trial by guess efforts. Simple, fast, not expensive.

? Glass tinting Green or smoke gray
Hey Guys
On this 66 Coupe I've found that I've got a mix of glass that's needing replace of not date coded correct ..
So I've decided to replace it all to avoide the new to old not matching.
It is A01 so my ? Is was the tinted glass in 66 only the green ?
I see you can get the 1 clear. 2. Green tint.. 3 Gray Smoked tint.
My NCRS specifications guide book dosent really talk about colors.
The car is red so I was hoping that I could use the Gray Smoke.
Plan to get it judged some day and don't like the thought of doing it
twice..
