Default Tremec 600 trans

Hello All, I Just finished a tremec conversion on the 65. What a pleasure to go the speed limit with 4:11

Dave I believe that is the cleanest underbody I have ever seen. Your work is without reproach. Enjoy that new found driving pleasure.

Looks great! My dad and I are doing this same project this weekend. We are pulling the engine and trans out together. Did you end up needing off-set dowel pins? I bought two different offsets just in case we need them.

Hi Patrick, I needed .007 off set dowels. Like you I bought all three sets .014--.021 to be sure they were there in case I needed them.American power train said I could return the ones I didn't use

HI, We used a portable ban saw as far as we could then a saw all. We also held a piece of 1/8" steel on the bottom of the floor board to keep the blade from hitting and marking the floor.Work Great. If you install your hockey pucks first that will give you a little more room for cutting.
