I have silver GF-90 on my car and after fudging around with it today, now it's leaking around one of the bungs...
I can order one from one of the replacments from the Corvette parts houses. Buuut I'd rather get one from the local parts store...anybody know what a modern replacement part # may be? Thanks,
Delco offers a replacement for the original GF90 filter, the APO-GF90 (GM #05650677). It's a larger diameter than the original GF90, and comes with a larger bracket, since it doesn't fit in the original one. The new GF90 is plain, unpainted steel, with no markings on it, and sells for around $20.
That oversized GM replacement GF90 is a horrendously ugly thing that you will hate every time you see it. I have about 15 real NOS ones available. Silver with Red ink. $25 each plus shipping..
