My "New" 1965 Coupe
I was helping a friend work on his '65 and even posted a couple of threads for it. Well, I ended up buying it (have a case of buyers remorse, but also wanted a C2).
It's in pretty good shape, paint is nice but has a couple of small rock chips, BB w/aluminum heads, Holley double pumper, headers, 4 speed, 3.36 posi, nice wheels.
Interior is in good shape also, small tear in the bottom leather seat, carpet looks pretty new. Needs new wiring, couple of gauges, headlight bucket work, etc. I'll be relying on you all again for help just as I did for my '59, which is running great right now.
Here's a couple of pics.

Justification? My ex wife used to say did you really need another one of those? I said no but I WANTED another one. No justification needed. Ask them if they needed another pair of shoes?

2021 C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified
what I noticed is that the battery was on the drivers side, and no AC...correct or not, looks like its has the potential to have originally been a big block 65!! that would make me happy.

I wish! A PO put the battery on the left side, cut away part of the wheel well, then installed a f/g or plastic cover that has a part # stamped on it. Never seen this before. Don't understand why, just one of the mysteries of getting an old car. The cables are taped together and draped over the back of the engine, one of the reasons I need to redo the wiring.
