Default 1963 Front License Plate Holder Question

Can anyone advise what parts (correct parts) are needed to affix a from license plate to a 1963? Also a good source for the parts? Just bought a 1963 convertible up at Corvettes at Carlisle. Thank you in advance!

Here's the holder... with the small holes, 1/4 inch IIRC.

You'll need the plastic inserts to go into those holes. You'll need the correct license plate mounting hardware to mount the plate, IF you're doing a NCRS type resto.

You'll also need two bolts/nuts to mount the holder/bracket to the crossbar. Those bolts have specific headmarks, again IF you're doing a NCRS type resto.

I leave the front plate off. I think it may block some air getting to the radiator, but maybe not.

What did you buy? Inquiring minds want to know. I was at cc and walked through the corral.
