Yes, I am Fred... but this "Fred" is for my dad, Fred Sr. (RIP), who purchased the car new in the fall of 1960.

Burning Brakes
My contribution to the thread.
Have had the car since 7th grade. My mom (RIP) was a great woman, and a gear head. Took us to the drag races... Encouraged us at an early age to have cool cars (like she did).. as long as we bought them with our own $$
Drove this in our back yard, and secret rides in the neighborhood after school while my mom was at work until I got my drivers lic many years later.

Her nick name is Lucy, because she's red and every time my wife Kara drives her she gets in trouble. Just like lucy on I love lucy
My wife's nick name is Bratt, when I bought the car I told her it was for her (Right) JK Bratt means Just Kidding Bratt
