Uh...and the PS side wiper arm goes over top the DS arm....

DS arm is 1" above the lower windshield molding and horizontal and PS is 1" above the DS arm and horizontal.

You're gonna have a tangle if you run 'em the way you have 'em now...

On my '63 I have the KO wheels mounted on the wrong sides and the spinners face the wrong way. I also have my wiper arms on wrong.

The few that look close always race to point out the "incorrect" mounting of these parts and they never notice my original paint that didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

I'll likely never scrape $25,000 together to get an acceptable finish on my car that will pass muster so in the meantime..............................

I'm talking about your wheels, not the paint. You can fix your wheels for nothing but a little time and effort. Get to it!

Ain't gonna' happen. They've been that way for about fifteen years and I've never had to do anything but check/add air to the tires.

Thanks for the suggestion but nothing is broken.

Thanks for the heads up!...wipers are not working yet, so I would have found that out the hard way..once I take the time to fix them..I've found and corrected a bunch but still have a lot of small issues to attend to on this car..

I thought that the spinners could loosen if on the wrong side. Can anybody confirm that? If so, you might be at risk.

So, trying to keep a fella from dinging up his windshield stainless steel molding or scraping off hood paint with an errant wiper is somehow an insult to some other car owner's original paint job ?

Bit of a stretch just to tweak somebody - don't ya think ?

Thread save!

Get back to me in another 15 years and I'll let you know how it came out!
