Default Missing numbers
Hi all. I have a friend with a 61 that has a 283. The numbers match on the car but the engine numbers are missing. He said he believes it has the letters F and O stamped and where the numbers should be it is blank.
any thoughts??

An intertying thought, the numbers match on the car but are missing? As good a definition of matching numbers as I suspect you will find.

It's short for F*** Off!

That's what I'd stamp on it if it didn't have the original numbers.

The block was probably decked, removing most of the letters/numbers on the pad.
