Okay, just watched a couple of YouTube videos on rocker arm geometry so understand a lot more than I did. Question - in determining push rod length, is it necessary to do every valve? I would think all the push rods would be the same length, or, at least, all intake would be the same and all exhaust would be the same.

On your engine they should all be the same. Typically, you measure both intake and exhaust on cylinder 1 and once you determine pushrods length and verify you have enough length on the rocker studs, you apply the same solution to all 8 cylinders.

Haven't looked to see if the rockers are hitting in the right place yet. In this pic, all the lock nuts seem to clear the rockers except the one I was having trouble with. Does it make sense to just get a longer nut for that one, or any that touch? What do you think?
