I remember those blue and red Cadillacs when I lived in Gainesville, Florida. Good to here they’re still there. Drove by them many times there on 6th Street. I wonder how much vandalism and attempted thefts they’ve experienced over the years. I remember seeing them at least as far back as 1979.

I am still amazed they are intact if nothing else not just a pile of rust. I do look at the trim and smile. Has value no doubt. The paint up close does look just on this side of brush applied. The windows are so tinted/blacked out so on this visit two years ago I couldn't tell what the interiors had left. I think I am just as surprised the business is still going and therefore the cars still there. Glad they exist to hopefully have the same impact on others as they did me. They kept my imagination and desire for huge American design for decades till I could afford it. It's the best part of owning my cars is watching the reactions of young kids to the caddy and the vette.

No Jeff, its a Z code 390, biggest FE available with an automatic and just a cruiser. Incidentally, to keep this somewhat Corvette related that Ontario Orange C3 in the same issue belongs to close friend Kurt Zimmerman, the photos were taken in my driveway.
The Galaxie appeared in Classic Car in July of 2010, the Bonneville in January of this year, and the Plymouth in 2008. Links to the articles are below. Appreciate the complement.

I followed up MUCH later in life (early 1970's) with a bunch of street bikes (750 Honda, 750 water-cooled Suzuki 2-stroke triple, 900 Kawasaki, Norton Interstate, and a 900cc BMW R90S. Sold the R90S in 1980, haven't been on a bike since.
