Either company you use are about the same. The important thing is is that you get a press molded frame and a press molded skin. There’s a lot of reproduction hoods out there that have a press molded frame and a hand laid up skin.

A while back I saw him selling a very nice '67 reproduction 427 hood and I asked him who made it. I believe he said that David Crane was selling them. I looked it over and the quality was excellent.
Also, Sermershiem's is now Lee Bumb Composites, Inc. Search for either and it will get you to their site. Same company, same quality work, just a name change. I believe that Lee is a son-in-law of the original owner, who was ready to retire.
Good luck... GUSTO

Sermersheim lists the '67 BB hood in their catalog for $1380. I used one of their front ends (sans the hood) on my '63 and the quality of their product is terrific.
I'd better not tell you what I paid for my original '67 BB hood back in 1969...
Good Luck... GUSTO
