None yet, Just discovered the theft this morning. It was behind a locked gate in a metal building.

Inside job...? No pun intended.

Hopefully it will be discovered quickly.

Here's hoping you get it back in one piece. Another example as to why we need good quality insurance on our cars. Makes me sick.

I would be worried that it might ultimately be headed out of the country. Is it worthwhile to notify customs and immigration or some such organization? Just asking the question?

Yours was built a few days before my BB roadster. I 'm hoping for a quick recovery.

We can thank the A**holes on ebay for allowing the sale of VIN plates, even though they say it is not allowed, there is a guy in Ga. that is continuously listing them & even though there are complaints about it, ebay does not stop the listings. I hope you get your car back & they catch the thief.

You would need a good car registration title to make a reproduction VIN tag worth anything. What am I missing?

dont give out any personal tell tale signs of YOUR cars personalization on this or any other site. Not even if they email you asking - just my opinion to keep some privacy and security..

The gate was pulled down, it broke one of the wooden post that held the gate up. They broke through a small metal door and had to climb over all kinds of furniture to get to where the car was stored. I had the ignition disabled so they had to push it out of the barn. This took at least two people. There was no way for them to load it up right out of the barn, it had to be pushed at least 100 feet to load it on to something. I have been recovering from Tick fever so I did not catch it for a couple of days.

Sounds like they were well organized. Not a good sign for being recovered. Possibly it was pulled into an enclosed truck and once the door is shut, they are home free. A couple years ago, there were a few cars that "disappeared" while attending the local GoodGuys show. Witnesses saw the cars being loaded into a semi and thought nothing of it. They've never been recovered. Either parted out or shipped out of the country.

I'm sad to hear this. Short of a miracle I just hope you're insured at a good Agreed Value.

Default Bummer, hope you recover it.

With all the moving furniture, pushing a long distance, and effort to get through the barrier (fence), this does not match the smash and grab theft model.

Start with people that had knowledge of the car first.

Somebody knew it was there. Possibly that somebody even knew you were under the weather for a few days. That's not just a random average car theft.
