Default Parking Brake

Need some help with my '63 parking brake. Brake intermittently will not lock after being set. Looks likes one of the pawls is missing and there is no spring. I got a kit with the two pawls and spring but can't find picture or drawing of how it all goes together.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
John

I believe he said he was shooting the bull, or something similar

Assembling the pawl kit instructions — should be on Paragon’s web site. Or else Zip’s. Two PDF pages IIRC.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about the parking brake itself. Here's a pdf I used to replace mine. You have to read carefully and it's not easy to hold everything together, but it worked for me.

Default Thanks to all.

Thanks to all for jumping in. Turns out I figured it out myself after removing the parking brake handle.
