Default c2 head light fuse

Is there a fuse for the headlights?? I have no power to the lamps, the roll over motors work fine, could it be the switch, the tail lights and dash lights work fine with the switch, there is not power to the lamps either high or low beam , also no power to the parking lights . I am just putting the car back together after a repaint.

The floor dimmer switch is a likely spot to check.

Welcome to the CF! and check any and all connections including the bulkhead connector contacts for corrosion or bent tangs. Dennis

There is no fuse for the headlights. There is a circuit breaker inside the headlight switch, but it normally resets and trips automatically when there's a short. As said earlier, the most likely source is the floor mounted dimmer switch. Fortunately it's an easy fix and can be bought at most local auto parts stores. Step on it several times in rapid succession and sometimes the lights will start to work. If they do, you should probably think about replacing it any way. There's a light blue wire going into the dimmer coming from the headlight switch that should always have 12v on it when the headlights are turned on. Then there's a tan wire and a light green wire coming out, one for brights and one for dim. One of those two should also have 12v on it depending on whether you have brights on or not. You can measure for voltage on the wires to determine if it's bad.
As far as the parking lights not working, they should ONLY come on in the part position. When headlights are on, they go off. Verify that you're not in the wrong position for park lights. They do not go through the dimmer.
