OT - bubbles under Xpel protection film
A bit OT but maybe not so much. I've been installing a pre-cut Xpel front end protection kit on my GT350 and have the inevitable small bubbles here and there. Otherwise - going pretty well. Sounds like a lot of these are supposed to go away on their own over some period of time. Has anyone had any experience with this?
I've also read about the hypodermic needle fix for stubborn ones but most of what I find says to hold off for awhile.

I've done all of my newer cars with Expel. Had them professionally installed. They all had some bubbles after installation. They all went away in a matter of a few days. Sometimes sitting out in the sun helps. I am aware of the hypodermic fix to burst the bubble. Never had to do it though.

Thanks - that's what I'm hoping for. Xpel is supposed to be somewhat permeable so if true - they should disappear.

My experience is the same as Capevettes. The professional installer instructed me to leave the vehicle in the sun for two days to allow the installation moisture to evaporate and protective film to "set". I didn't have any bubbles per se but did have areas where you could still see hints of moisture under the film. Hope this is helpful.
