C1/Solid axle Corvette of the Month for 2017
This thread kicks off Corvetteforum’s third annual C1 Corvette of the Month contest and will culminate with Corvette of the Month winners in each generation competing for Corvette of the Year.
The C1 of the Month winner will get not just bragging rights, but also one National Corvette Museum pass, a Corvetteforum Travel Mug, and a free one-year upgrade to Supporting Member status on the forum.
To enter, post one photo of your C1 in this thread no later than Nov. 15. Moderators then will pick ten of their favorites as finalists and set up a poll to allow you to vote on which of those finalists is the 2017 C1 Corvette of the Month.
The fine print: One entry per member. This contest is open to members located in the contiguous United States or the District of Columbia who are over the age of 18. Please see the Official Rules attached below for more.

1962 300hp/4-spd. This is a 64K original miles, matching numbers, 2-top car. She's a driver (everything works), not a show car - but she doesn't look bad. Taken to all the local shows and out for ice cream with the grandkids. Thanks for your vote . . .

Our '62. Purchased on Nov. 19th, 1970. Our "First Date" car and will celebrate our 45th year in marriage this coming Jan. Original engine, but not trans or 3rd member. Pretty much original paint, glass, hard top, etc. Refresh interior- Seats and carpet redone, door cards and dash are original. 340Hp. Off-road exhaust sounds wonderful.
A little different perspective from the lift:

Found it in 1972 pushed up against a dumpster in an apartment parking lot...
Twenty-eight years later, and my fast track restoration was done!
