What a beautiful Corvette. A red 67 with a 427 is my favorite car of all time.
Congratulations, what a wonderful find, I'm sure you will take excellent care of it.

Well Said
So he was a young man (~36?) when he traded for this museum piece. Just amazing condition. I feel his pain. Not just that he loved that car but also the memories of that period of his life. Amazing car, story, and apparently a life well lived. AND it’s red!
Geez, I’d get attached to a shaver I had for 44 years. Great story.

Serious Corvette Buyer
So Friday my cell rings and the gentleman on the other end tells me his name and says he is a Corvette Buyer and wanted to let me know he is a Serious Corvette Buyer and would Love to add my 67 to his collection. He proceeds to ask what I paid for the car. He quickly figured out I would not disclose the purchase price. He then says I bet you paid 45K for the car and I laughed at him. He then said surely you didn’t pay more the 50K for the car as Ohio Corvettes are the worst to buy. I couldn’t believe how cocky and arrogant he was. I replied how can you be a Serious Corvette buyer when you insult people on the telephone. I then asked him for a favor and explained that when he found that barn full of 27K mile 1967 427/400 2 owners since new to call and I will buy all day long. What a piece of work he was!!!

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1967 Corvette that is 2 owner and has been stored since 1974. The second owner traded the original owner a tractor for the car in 1974. The car has never had a wrench laid on it other than he had it repainted in 1986 due to the fact the barn roof leaked a dripped rust on the roof. The car is otherwise 100% original with all factory components in place. The original owner is still alive and is now 93.
The car is a 1967 coupe red 427/400 with 4 speed, 27,000 original miles black leather interior S ide pipes that looks like it should be on the dealers showroom floor.
The second owner is 79 years old currently. He showed me the car 2 years ago sitting in a heated barn on his property. I was absolutely amazed at its condition. It is a time capsule that has been impicably stored.
Would anyone be able to help with value. I would like to offer a reasonable amount for the car,but don't really know what the value of a1967 unrestored Corvette would be.
Thanks
