New Ride
Hey guys,
Just want to introduce myself officially to the C1/C2 section. Two days ago I purchased a 1963 convertible that I have been looking at and dealing with the owner for about a month and a half. Several people within helped me with questions I had on the purchase (thanks again). So, I have been on the forum almost since the inception but never have I had a Vette this old. This car is far from perfect but its going to be in the family for a long time and I plan on doing what I can myself to improve it. When I do a repair to it I want to use original equip when I can. I think this is the way to go for value ( yes/no ?)
So, excuse me for the upcoming stupid questions, but try to bear with me and thanks.

Nice...but I'm pretty sure that's a 63 convertible (might want to edit your post)....

Good looking '63. Don't let it sit in the garage. These cars really need to be driven in order to be trustworthy. Dennis

Nice 63 roadster! Is that a black or dark blue interior? Hard for me to tell from the pictures! Congratulations on your new C2... the color is one of my all time favorites!

Beautiful color combo. Looks like you have a nice car that hopefully needs only minor improvements. There are no “stupid” questions. Don’t be afraid just ASK AWAY. We are all here to hopefully build confidence to tackle improvement projects correctly, cost effectively and make them easy as possible.
