64 vs 67
Here's one we can bat around for awhile-Assuming equal condition and originality what would the value difference be between a 64 365 hp coupe and a 67 300 hp roadster both solid #2 drivers

I would guess a number around 10K more for the 67

Personal preference has a lot to do with this as it's coupe vs convertible, high horsepower vs lower horsepower, factor in colors and there's lots to consider.

Price wise I think they would be equal. JMHO

I think the 67 would be the easier to sell, given the same asking price & condition.

64 easily worth $10K-15K more than the 67.

Coupe vs ragtop diff applies but diminished when comparing a 64 to a 67.
Many would value the 327/300 over the solid lifter 365. 327/300 best ever engine, 327/350 next best. less effort to maintain, perfect manners, plenty of steam for all but the 6,500 rpm daily winders.
then we have a split master and disc brakes, no small option.
Buyer preference, convertible vette vs coupe cave. Color, condition, etc.
No two cars are equal. Look closer!

2023 C2 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
I'm sure those of you saying you would pay more for the '64 will soon be contacted by '64 owners willing to sell you theirs for "more than a '67"! Probably VERY few '64s have sold for more than a "comparable" '67 over the past 20-30 years, if any.

Where I am, '67's bring more money than any other year C2. And have for years. I personally like the styling of the '64 interior much better, and I like the outside styling better, too. I do not like the back up light on the '67, and not a huge fan of the many side vents. I still love the '67, and mechanically, it may be the most refined C2.

The 65-up cars were better liked because of the disc brakes, nicer interiors (molded door panels, seamless carpet) and big block availability. The only exception was the 63 coupe because of the little extra piece of fiberglass in the back. Today more and more buyers don't care what engine they have or what model year of a series. Many due to health problems prefer the auto trans as do the few younger buyer that grew up with automatics. I am not saying that EVERYBODY is like this but certainly more and more as time goes on. and it has an effect on the answer to the OPs question whereas 20-30 years ago the answer was a no brainer in favor of the 67. Some (like myself) that have high octane gas running through their veins are becoming few and far between.

67 vs 64 value
As expected ,wide range of opinions. Seems that the 64s are no longer the mid year step child and are catching up with the others in price. I am considering trading or selling my 67 for a coupe of equal value and just seeking the opinions of other forum members. Thanks for the replies and keep them coming.

I'm afraid the prices of all but the most unique mid-years, ie fuelies, L78s, and tri-power 67s are falling the meet those of the 64s.

I don't think anyone here really knows what time it is. I'd go to a used car lot and see what it could trade for to get the right price differential.

My 64 coupe 427 tri power
been upgrading my 64 coupe . Disc brakes all drive train rebuild .
25 foot black paint job . New interior install underway . Any c2 coupe deserves all the attention . Can’t afford a 67 coupe L71 so I made my own .

If this helps, there was a reason why Zora Duntov's stated that his favorite corvette and his best build was a 1964. 65 and up went cheap on the interior compared to 63 and 64. I have a 67 tri power vert and 64 coupe 365/ air hands down I would sell the 67 first if I had too
