Default Anyone recognize this car?

Anyone know any history on this car?
Picture supposedly taken July 27, 1953 at Bowman Gray Stadium at Winston-Salem, NC.

If July 27, 1953 is correct then it cannot be the Pro Team car. It is going to be an extremely early car. What makes you believe that the picture was taken in 53?

The owner of the picture used to work as a tech inspector at Bowman Gray Stadium in the 50's. He also said that the car was one of three cars prepared for NASCAR racing. The autograph on the picture shows that the driver was Pee Wee Jones which matches the information in the Barret Jackson description. Perhaps the date was later than July 27, 1953, I will try to verify the date. I think Bowman Gray has all their old records.
