Great going, Pat! Masking-wise, I believe we're witnessing a master perfectionist in action!

Are you putting the BB in it? What are you doing for the cross member relief?

No, the 427 will be waiting for the right '67 to come along.

This one retains it's original 327/340 hp motor. Here's a pic of what's underneath all that masking. ]

Pat;

You are seriously rockin' it brother. It will turn out beautiful, mainly because you are doing the prep work to such a high degree.

We are looking forward to see if with COLOR. Nice work Pat.

Nothing short of artwork - here's hoping the pie-crust bias play tires won't be on the final product..

Last coat of primer!

Now 320, & then 500 grit!

Called in the professional for the final prime, and also will spray the color and clear this week-end. It will be in a heated booth.

Pat

Man you're kicking butt! I take it Christmas is coming early this year based on the underside view.

LOL! Yea, I'm going to dread taking all of that tape and paper off, and I'm sure I'll be cussing the SOB who did this. Then I'll remember it was me!

Look on the bright side. The largest masking tape ball record could be in jeopardy!

I would pull tape and paper all day long instead of trying to clean off overspray. Can’t wait to see this weekend.

Looking good Pat.......I primed my 66 outside like you did years ago. Amazing you found overalls that fit over the pythons!

Chassis looks great but you're going to hate those bias ply tires real fast.

cheers bud. :cheers.

Thanks Robbie!

Although, the pic is of the painter who is going to spray the color this week-end. He wanted to put the last coat of primer on, and boy am I glad he did. What a difference watching him use the paint gun versus my use of the paint gun. LOL!

I feel much more comfortable that he's going to make the silver blue look as good as it did from the factory.

The tires are only on there for rollers. They came with the car, and had never seen the roadway. They are old, real old!

Hope to have new pics on Saturday, or Sunday.

Pat

Almost done with 320 grit. Still saving my lines! Then onto 500!

3rd clear coat on, and one more to go!

Coming out incredibly well!

Also, that's reflections of the ceiling in the paint booth!
