C1 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Winter hibernation therapy...meet "Grandma".... she's a '66 327/350 4spd, matching numbers. The interior and chassis has been redone by the prior owner (we got her about 12 years ago), guy did a super nice job but for what ever reason, bought doubles of EVERYTHING. I don't know why Grandma came up as a name, but when we bought the HWSE (the camaro in the background) she decided she was pissed and cracked the carburetor, dumped the ignition...she wanted attention too I guess.
The exterior is what I'd call a 20 foot car...at 20 feet, she looks good, but when you stand next to her, her paint is faded, some small chips, chrome is so so, etc... but its all original/unmolested. Gonna leave it original...takes the stress out of driving her and worrying about stone chips (I guess).
Post up a pic of your C1/C2...lets see what you got, help the Michigander dream this winter away!

Apparently most Corvette buyers though so in 1966 as there were 6100 made in this color which accounts for about 22% of the total built that year.
For 1965 there were 6022 made which accounts for over 25% of the total production that year.
No wonder we still see so many in this great color.

Safety Car
I hear you about those Michigan winters. Was out in the shop today fixing the oil furnace instead of working on the latest project.
Your '66 is sure a fantastic looking coupe Brian-----has the perfect stance. If it's not too much trouble what brand and size tires are you running on her??
