What if you wax it one week and race the next?
Though I have found myself doing more waxing and less racing as i got older.

Remember the ice age was coming. Bird-less spring seasons, the population bomb and we all should be starving to death by now.

Don't be fooled by this crap, decent and not so decent model T's still find buyers.
Remember that guy with the TV show that was going to go around the country, and literally buy up every single first generation Camaro? He thought if he did that, he could name his price after he restored them all.

The Mecum guys have diarrhea of the mouth. I've got a category for them: it's called "I don't like you".
You get to be in this category when you make attempts to generalize and catagorize other people. No two people are the same and these guys are full of crap.

I will share all of that my sons and grandsons, right after they take away my car keys, until then I will keep building/driving them !

I'm not leaving any of my stuff to my kids.

#1 son could be interested but he can't seem to take care of anything. Never did. He has the tools but if he wants something, bid on it at the sale.

#1 daughter doesn't have any attachment to my stuff. Husband is a high roller dentist and doesn't do "used" stuff.

#2 daughter would be thrilled to have one or the other but she has to start the leaf blower or string trimmer for her husband drug (legal) salesman. His daddy bought him a new Corvette when he graduated college about ten years ago. He never drives it.

So, it all goes in the sale. I don't care what they get for it. Won't make my departure from here any different one way or the other.

I don't worry about it, Just don't want to live to see my modest car, parts and tool collection thrown out for the junk man.
DAD! You forgot about me! I love you, you can leave your stuff to me. I’ll PM you my name and address.

Enjoy them while you can in the present. Forget about "someday in the future".

I too, have checked into taking my Vettes with me. Sent a lot of money to an online lawyer. Never heard back from him. Strange.

Well, if you want to spend a LOT of money and waste a really nice car, you can arrange to be buried in it in select and limited locations!

Yes, hard to make suggestions or comments unless you own and drive a C2 Corvette.

Hard to be a Corvette expert if you do not even own a corvette.

True but that same stop light now showcases a C7 ZO6, Camaro ZL1, Mustang GT350R and a HellCat, everyone of which would eat what you and I saw in our youth for lunch any day of the week and that's all that matters when you're in High School !

I am sure they are taking cheap shots at me from page one of this thread. And that’s ok. While we continues to ask a bunch of questions I will be sure not to help. As I may not own a corvette but I have about 20 years on working on 67 cars to top flight status This ain’t my debut at this sort of thing. And don’t worry I have driven a few cars too.
