1963 vert door jams?

My 63 verts door jams are not smooth? Is that the stock look?

The door jambs on my car are kinda rough in many areas. Unfinished junctions where panels meet. Grinder scars in some areas. Other areas are flat but clearly show the original grain of un-sanded fiberglass.

My 63 jams r smooth. Car was repainted in the 70's but the did very little prep-just a quickie spray. (I dont even think they opened the doors to paint on my car during the re-spray)
