New member here.....so I picked up my aunt's 59 she has had for 35 years in pieces, I'm gonna restore. My uncle told me it doesn't have the correct 59 seats. Can anyone plz tell me what they go to? Are they even for a vette?

Mature, hey thanks I really appreciate it, maybe they are a 65, now I have to find my year sea rd, but I think I read someone on here say the 61 or around there are better seats for more room, just upolster them as 59......

You're probably better off to sell those C2 seats and buy some C1s. They fit totally different in the car body, especially at the back, top, where the top compartment meets them.

I had a '66 with seats very similar to those.

Yah I think I will sell them and get ones that fit the 59, hopefully it will be a wash, but does anyone know about the 61-62 seats, do they fit better as far as leg room and adjustability, I think I read something on here about that....

Definitely 65 seats. The 61-62 seat frames are different than earlier years. You won’t see much difference in leg room though. The leg room is in the different body length. The C1 frames and seats will more than likely cost more than your 65 seats. You might find somebody to trade if you’re lucky. I’m not sure what your steering wheel is out of.

Wise Guys web site leaves much to be desired. I think you will be much better off calling them.

You can buy what you need on eBay, but have a seat before you write the check. There are some on there now (56,57,58,59,60) frames, etc. but you will be close to $4K by the time you buy everything you need. At least you have some original 65 seats to offer up for sale that should offset a significant amount. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Corvette-19...9aTuBB&vxp=mtr

You can buy C1 seats that have built in extra room both in head room with thinner bottoms, and thinner seat backs for leg room. I forget the company but I'm sure someone here knows them.
