Default C2 convertible weather stripping

I have a 1964 corvette convertible that needs the convertible top front windshield weather stripping on the top replace. Can someone give me some insight on how to replace this weather stripping.

Regards
Russ

The front header w/s simply snaps into holes on the header with plastic retainers that come with it. It is important to line them up straight before pushing them in. Most of the time I use my thumb but sometimes I need to use the but end of a tack hammer to help press it in.
The ends may be glued to the side corner pieces so you may have to release the glue and re-glue it.

I also apply a sealant UNDER the w/strip before I push in the pins. That way I do not have to have a customer call me and tell me that they have a leak and I find that the water is going between the w/strip and the frame.
