If you oil at the lifters you are good to go, you have filled the filter, and the oil passages to the bearings, the oil pump can take over when you fire it up.

Just leave a puddle of oil inside the rockers so the ball is wet when it starts. You might actually have a lot of oil in the pushrods but you just don't see it because the hole in the push rod doesn't always line up with the hole in the heel of the rocker.

Block is all together. Valves adjusted, intake on covers are on. I'll pour some more break in lube in the rockers before I start it. Just have to clean the engine compartment before I drop the engine back in.
