[C2] Only Blue Corvettes Need Respond

I would love a dark blue with red interior C2. Have seen one 63 SWC and I still wish I had asked for the Owner's number. Very striking in person. Is my first choice if I ever find one again. I do not own but have seen many of the dark blue cars and indeed if its not clean you can tell. Silver always hides everything well. It will be striking in that combo too but I do think the more luxurious look is blue/red.

I just found this 1966 Trophy Blue Corvette picture. Looks very similar to Silver and should be a much easier color to keep clean,

I previously owned a 1966 Nassau blue coupe. The Silver pearl will look cleaner with dust on it. Also it will look MUCH better with the red interior.

The silver with red is beautiful and easier to keep clean. I have a silver truck and it hides road dirt well. My car is Daytona Blue with red interior and it shows road dirt much quicker than my truck. But....when the car is clean I love the blue over red.

Here's my silver 63. It's easy to keep clean. Also have a silver blue 63 and it also doesn't tend to show dirt... The black 65 is a different story...

The dark blue can look a lot like black, which as you may have heard, may be a bit harder to clean.
And yes, red interiors are pretty sharp, and yes, if you have one, pretty much means you are a **** star.

All the blues look good with a red interior. My favorites are Daytona laguna and Nassau in that order. My replacement door came with a red interior panel and I almost ditched silver in my car in favor of the red.
That said- silver and red is probably my own next favorite combo. You won't go wrong!
keeping the darks clean is a little more work, but I'm not fussy with my driver.

I have a Blade Silver C7 and a Nassau Blue '66 stored in the same garage. one is stored up on the lift, the other right below it. I love both colors and after owning several black Corvettes, both colors are a breeze to keep clean.
You can't go wrong with either silver or blue and I'm betting silver blue would be just about perfect.

I worked at a body shop for 10 years, what do painter HATE the most "PEARL" why? to match the paint is vry hard when you need to repair a panel, accidents do happen, I've seen the shop redo a fender 4 times, with pearl, yes mixing the color is the same, but the pearl is how many swipes the gun does over the color, and light colors are the worst, My 58 is the original blue/silver, and everyone loves this color, good choice GM. Mike.

Partial to sweet silver however.

My car is easy to keep clean, I just dust it off. It get washed maybe every 2 or 3 years. First pic is from sitting in garage and dusty-next is a day after a bath.
I like Silver w/red interior (wish mine was)
