Only Blue Corvettes Need Respond
Hello,
I have a C2 Corvette with a red interior. My car is under restoration and will be painted soon. I am undecided now between Pearl Silver and a more bright and shiny Blue Exterior Paint Color. For those of you who own blue C2 Corvettes, I have a few questions?
I do not want a hard to clean color where I will be dusting the car in the garage and will need to be washed every time the car gets on the road. ( Note-Your Opinion Only....There are not right or wrong answers) This is not a debate.
My1st color choice is Pearl Silver....it is a easy color to keep clean and no dusting in the garage," I also like blue corvettes"--- is Dark Blue a hard color to keep clean? Would you do the same color again?
If you have a light blue car---is it hard to keep clean? Does it shine like the darker blue color?
Provide picture if desired. Thanks!

2021 C2 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
I have a '66 Laguna Blue, which is kind of rare. It's very dark blue, with green metallic in it. But I've also owned a '66 Nassau Blue, That's a beautiful color too and I think easier to keep clean.
1966 LAGUNA BLUE 427/390 & <br/> 1966 NASSAU BLUE 427/425.

Yes, dark blue C2s are hard to keep clean.

Daytona blue with red interior is pretty sweet.

Paint it whatever color that makes you go "YEAH" when walking into the garage. I actually don't mind cleaning mine. The car is small and it's a way to appreciate it's lines.
A guy I know was telling me how easy it was to keep his daily driver clean----think it was brown or gold. I told him "No, that color isn't easy to keep clean-----that color is easy to keep dirty".
Good luck with your choice.
