best place to get restoration/replica documents?
wondering if anyone here has ordered window stickers, build sheets, POP replicas for their car. where is the best place to get them? thanks, Rick

fake window stickers are great for car shows. everything else listed is boarder line fraud

You can't get real ones based on vin, no records are available with that information. You can only get fake ones made up based on the options you provide to whoever is making them up.

I made these jacking instructions (made to look old and worn).
I was gonna use on my car but it has the original one still on the board.
U can take this and have it printed-out on antique-looking paper/card-sock.

That's ONLY true for cars initially sold in the US! Cars that were ordered & shipped to Canada from St. Louis have records available at GM Canada for a reasonable fee. Fyi, Bill

And with todays privacy laws, it makes it damn near impossible to follow the ownership trail backward from you thru the various state motor vehicle licensing offices to that original selling dealership. This exercise had to be done 25-30 yrs ago.

Frank you and others can draw your own conclusions up about him and others who make these docs up. Like I said faking them is ok if you make them look brand new. When you start to age them that is where I draw the line from fun to fraud
