I know all about the polyurethane problems. The breakdown of the poly and the X,Y Z motion....but people still use them.... when the car is not being aggressively driven (autocrossing).

I know I DO NOT sell polyurethane strut rod bushing to my customers any longer. They either get rubber...or the greaseable spherical end strut rods.

I only mentioned it is because IF I did not..then someone else would come in and comment that THEY are an option....and they have been on for 20 years and have 50,000 miles on them and they are still perfect.

I can't win for losing.

Is that the stock spring freshened up or is it a new spring? If new, where did you buy it?
nevermind. I see you blasted and painted it.

Yes I used the same spring, minus the bubba spacers & the car sits fine in the back.
I used a complete rear suspension nut & bolt kit for the fasteners.

I sand blasted the spring & the metal looked great under the surface rust. I initially painted it with the Seymour grey primer paint that came with the quanta liner kit (far left) but I did not like the look of it, and since I am not a judging guy, I repainted it with Eastwood's Spray Gray, which is the same thing I used on my drive shafts. The rear carrier got cast blast & I am going to do the rest of the frame (frame off) with the John Deere blitz black. Just adding these notes so future people can find these things I had questions with.
