Default Tail light sockets & mirror

I am helping my son put a new harness in his 64 and the tail light sockets have been modified. Some one put replacement sockets in and we can not use the original black plastic contacts that is attached to the harness. I do not want to cut up the new harness to make it work.
I know that the plate is attached to the housing but his bezels are OK and he doesn't want to spend 80 bucks apiece.
Are these available separate or only as an assembly. Does anyone have good used ones that the chrome housings are bad?

Is this a Corvette mirror?

I've never seen a Corvette mirror with a base that long. Yours looks more like this Bel Air mirror:

or maybe a Corvair:

Thanks.
It is very unique with that fluted area near the mirror mount.

The mirror is for a full size 1963 and 1964 Chevrolet. It could also have other applications, but not Corvette.
