That’s a good question. I don’t recall seeing any. Several cars came with the announcement that they had to be sold to out of state residents or licensed dealers because on non conforming emissions. I’m not sure what the year cutvoff was for that.

You sure don't see a Citroen SM (Maserati-powered) every day! (post #3, photo #1).

That car 427/425 sold at Barrett Jackson in January. Anyone see what it sold for?

Thanks for posting your pictures!

I don't see the Bugatti on the "Top ten" list on Mecum's website. So I guess it did not meet the reserve price at $3'050'000...?!?

From the CA, DMV website:
"Gasoline powered cars 1975 year model or older are smog exempt."

That's odd since the mid 60s car there had to have smog systems on them

Correct, but no longer required as cars of this age ('75 and older) don't have to have smog inspections/certificates to be registered.

That 2nd picture really shows off arch like lines on that BB '66. Odd on what looks to be otherwise a very nice car.

I remember seeing one back in the early 1970's in Montana. Took me forever to figure out what it was.

I noticed the new trend is to spray some sort of clear shiny sealer over your paint peeling, faded, rust bucket. Have seen it a lot around here.

Cheaper than prep and paint, i guess.

I think they are trying to permanently preserve that perfect state of patina.
