Engraved steering wheel 1965 corvette
I hope this is the correct place to ask this question.
I have a 1965 corvette and just noticed that the steering wheel is engraved with a fancy looking name. I am wondering is this something anybody has seen before? can anybody tell what it says? the photo is attached. I would deeply appreciate any help I can get to determine if it is anything special or just someone marking their territory?
Kind Regards Please see attachment photo

What you have there is a "Nardi" brand steering wheel. I'm not sure if they even make them anymore, but they were/are an aftermarket steering wheel manufacturer at least as far back as the 60s if not earlier.
Nardi was a higher end wheel, far above the Grant wheels, and many looked like the optional Corvette teak wheel.

No worries. I am just trying to give back to so many here that have helped me out.
Would love to see a picture of the whole wheel (not to mention your car).

Here is the Nardi Classic wood steering wheel on my 64 Vette. It is approximately 15 inches in diameter. It is specifically 390mm (15.35 inches). I polished the Nardi name off of the wheel.
These wheels comes in a variety of sizes, but for our purposes the 330mm (12.99 inches), 360mm (14.17 inches) and 390mm (15.35 inches) are the most likely choices.
They are not that expensive used on Ebay and other sites. You also need the Chevrolet / GM steering wheel adapter or hub that allows this wheel to be mounted to a Chevrolet car (like my 64 Corvette).

Nardis are so Italian-European, and were used on many of the world's finest cars.
Beautiful.
