Default Importing question

Has anyone imported a corvette into the US from Canada? If so were there any problems or high taxes?
Thanks

Call the DMV, they should know. Probably just an inspection.

You should also check with U.S. customs.

One thing in your favour will be that it is classed as an antique if it is over 25 years old.

The car was made here. There is no fee to bring it back to the country it was born in.

I am from Canada and I sold two old vettes to a buyer in the US. There were absolutely no charges of any kind going across the Canada/US border. All you have to do is show the ownerships and bill of sales.

I have purchased cars from Canada. There were no issues in CA. It was treated like any other “out of state purchase”.
