Default When This Board Is Slow

When things are quiet here on this board and ya need a little excitement, just ask which cam you should use in your engine, and why. Guaranteed that it will bring many "experts" out of hiding.

Or, if you should restomod your split window.

Or, what is the absolute widest wheel/tires that will fit my 65.

Or, should I replace all of the original rear suspension with aftermarket parts of a new (un)improved design?

You left out a few of the old standards but the ones you mentioned will get it going.

I'm unable to sleep at night, because my corvette has knock off wheels.
Lots of people told me they fly off the car on the freeway, with no warning whatsoever.
Can someone please tell me when mine might fly off, so I can prepare.

Something tells me that it's been slim pickings on the Drunken Alligator website.

I always see the quickest responses with maximum rudeness by members here when someone asks about tire sizes.

Criiter the forum members here would like to help you, but if want us to help you, we need to know what year forum you are to seeking to increase the speed of. Also how fast do you want to go, you did not set a base line or any parameters. Finally pictures are worth a thousand words. I posted one as an example. After you have been around here for awhile you will get the hang of it.

fast, faster, fastest, fastester

and then there is warp.

OK my work here is done.

I like that lower picture from inside the car. What year Corvette is that one? I'm kinda new at this.

It's a split-windshield coop, of course!

3030 Corvette proto type, not produced yet, expected release is 3030 to honor the legendary camshaft. I ponied up two days ago and got my pre-order in because it is going to take that long to save the credits for it, better head to the Chevy dealer and get in line while you can. It has 3 transmissions as evidenced by the multiple levers and instead of an overdrive it is equipped with a stardrive. There is a predicted material shortage which is why you don't see any wheels. Supposed to be able to do the 1/4 in 0.000000000001 parsec. I guess it would be faster if it had wheels but I'm good with the prediction. I'm hoping side pipes make it in the final design.

Yeah there is a raging design versus styling argument about the split windows hindering forward viability. If this makes it into final design it maybe a one year only deal which is why I got my order in early.

I prefer and recommend the Isky 550 Super Le Gerra solid lifter cam for the small block..... for its combination of horsepower and good street manners.

However, not everyone may agree with this choice.

I know two guys that tried that in their street cars.

Both of slowed down from stock and one scattered the engine. GM warranty covered it, of course!

Another one tried the RR2 Isky roller on a street engine. He slowed down too.
