Upper control arms?
How should the upper control arm shafts be installed? I forgot to mark them. GM part number out so you can read it. Or dose it matter?

C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified 2020
I just checked my '67. I can't find any numbers on either flat and I know mine are original. My guess is, it may not matter. Dennis

Checked my 1966 upper A arms that I JUST pulled of yesterday and there are NO numbers on said part. Mine look identical. I am the original car owner so I know they have not be replaced. Also took a look in the 1966 NCRS Tech and Judging Manual. This Manual does NOT list any numbers or differentiation for said part. Agree with Dennis. Probably doesn’t make any difference which side.

I just looked at my '64. One side, driver, has the numbers 3820483 GM1 showing to the inside. The passenger side has the same numbers showing to the outside. I doubt it makes any difference, unless there is some secret, special way they are to present.

The shaft can go in how ever you choose...because they are not off-set.
I seriously doubt the guys on the line were worried about seeing the cast numbers right side up or upside down or on the backside where they are hard to see.
